Aling Ening Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
My go to place for filipino food. I usually never dine in but prefer to order ahead for special occasions. Reasonable rates and tasty food.
I normally come by to pick up desserts. Their ube Biko is delicious and reasonably priced. All other desserts like the Turons are also superb.
Food is delicious! Friendly and unpretentious local place. They recommended me a dish because I am new to the cuisine -- loved it. I can't wait to try everything else.
The food tastes like real home-cooked food and it's warm when they serve it. It feels like real karinderia:-) The key is to go there first thing in the am!
Been coming here since the early 2000's. Always consistent! Great taste and quality! Real definition of an authentic hole in the wall mom and pops shop! This is the place I go to to get my Filipino food fix.
The combo is a deal, and on top of that, the food is really good. Im a Filipino home cooking kinda guy, but I was not disappointed with the Beef Caldereta, Pinapaitan, and Pinakbet. Got two Turon to go and our lunch was complete! The Kuya behind was also very nice!
Really tasty, good portions, and cheap prices… 3 of the best things when it comes to food!! Everytime I come here, I always order their bangsilog! (Bangus, with a fried egg & garlic rice) they serve a whole bangus with it, and I usually can never even finish it to myself. My family has tried the tocilog (tocino, with a fried egg & garlic rice), tapsilog (tapa, with a fried egg & garlic rice), and the adosilog (adobo, with a fried egg & garlic rice). They all loved every single one of them. Their portions are really good for the price you pay! Their silogs range in price from around $12-$17. Only con about the place, is that if it’s cold outside.. it can be quite cold inside as well. & there’s not much seating for dine in. Whenever I’m craving any type of silog and want to go somewhere nearby, Aling Ening is my go-to spot!
You come here for the food so flavourful. Friendly service. Reasonably priced. Clean. The interior is non descriptive. The place was busy and doing a brisk take out, I can see why...will be back.
